I’m Robert Castiello, owner and Enrolled Agent, providing tax and accounting services for individuals and small businesses nationwide.

My path into accounting started early and developed through both formal education and real-world experience. I earned an associate degree in Business Administration from Northshore Community College and began my professional career in 2005 with H&R Block, where I spent over a decade working with a wide range of tax situations and learning from experienced colleagues across the industry.

In 2017, I established my own practice and have continued serving clients independently since then. Over the years, the firm has grown to support individuals, families, small businesses, and independent professionals with tax preparation, planning, and compliance needs.

As a small, independent office, our focus is on clear communication and practical guidance. Services include tax preparation, assistance with tax notices and letters, audit support, tax planning, and ongoing compliance services for individuals and small businesses. Our approach emphasizes accuracy, transparency, and helping clients understand the steps being taken on their behalf.

The Tax of Life LLC is the parent company of TOLUS Accounting, allowing us to expand accounting and compliance services while maintaining the same office, team, and standards our clients are used to.
